Still Here

Sorry I haven't posted in awhile. Daycare has been closed so my mom is up here watching Vivian. Vivian has strep and has been feeling very yucky. Hopefully she starts feeling better soon! Here are some pictures my mom took of her last week.

This weekend I found a pink kids' apron my mom gave Vivian awhile ago. She wears it on her back and calls herself superhero Rosie.

This morning Vivian told Victor her tummy hurt. When he asked why she said because Aunt hit her there while she was sleeping. 

Zoo Day

Tuesday I unexpectedly took the day off so Vivian and I went to the zoo! It was a fun surprise. Typically when I plan on taking the day off I plan errands and things to do around the house so I don't end up with much extra time with Vivian. Since this was an unexpected day off I didn't have anything planned so we juts played all day.

She loves playing make-believe with these things. I think because there are so many of them (Ariel, Tinkerbell, Snow White, Aurora, Dorothy, Lion, Scarecrow, and Tinman (though I'm pretty sure the OZ ones are actually for me.))

Vivian Bites

Vivian has recently begun singing longer portions of songs and it's so cute!! I try to play it cool or she will stop but I have a hard time controlling myself. Some of her songs from tonight:

I sing the first and last lines of "You are my Sunshine" and she sings "You make me happy and skies are great."

"I'm bringing home my baby bumble bee. Won't be Caiti be so proud of me."

Vivian kept pouring water on her clothes and walking around saying "cold cold cold." It took me five minutes to realize she was pretending to be Anna from Frozen.

Vivian said she wanted to take a bath but I told her no because lunch was almost ready. She then went and played with her princesses who asked for a bath but the evil queen wouldn't let them. Then they all cried.

Sorry I haven't posted in awhile. I just haven't take many pictures this week. We've been playing outside most days this week. I took some photos today so Cait doesn't yell at me but none of them are great.

Today we pretended to go on a bear hunt like in the book "Going on a Bear Hunt." I clearly didn't think that through. In part of the book the characters take off their shoes so Vivian decided she had to take off her shoes as well. In 50 degree weather...

Then she threw some rocks into the lake by our house.

Then she sang let it go over and over while I had to sing "Snowman" and "For the First Time in Forever"

Then we made some stir fry.

Gardening

Today Vivian and I planted a little flower garden for her. She said elephants and ponies are going to live there. She picked out the flowers all by herself and had a great time looking at all her different options.

Then she decided to fill her hat with dirt. Not quite sure why.

We have had such nice weather this week!! Every day this week Vivian and I played outside after work. Which makes it hard to make dinner but breakfast for dinner is always delicious.

Vivian loves her scooter. She doesn't actually scoot on it but she plays with it constantly.
