Vivian Bites

Today I was wearing a gauzy maxi skirt. As soon as Vivian got home she changed into her Cinderella dress and we had a princess dance party. If you are wondering how that is different from a regular dance party, we spin in circles for awhile then lift up our skirts and run around and hide from the prince. Then dance some more. You know, how princesses lift their skirts to the side? Except Vivian lifts hers above her belly button.

Yesterday Vivian kept crying so I asked what was wrong. She responded a witch put a spell on her which made her cry. I then asked how to get rid of the spell and she said we had so smash the witch with a hammer. That escalated quickly.

I have a ton of pictures from the beach. Problem is, some are duplicates I received from other people but I don't know which is which. So, I'm going to post what I have and hopefully people don't mind duplicates!

Imagination

Vivian's imagination has exploded! It's so fun these days to listen to her make up stories. Her memory is also much better which leads to some funny things coming out of her mouth. Yesterday we went to the zoo and saw a Rhino. She kept asking his name so Victor and I would make up random names we thought were funny. Finally she said "Monte!" and I realized she was remembering a Bubble Guppies episode she watched quite awhile ago with a Rhino named Monte.

Saturday she spent the morning playing doctor with Anna.

Long week!

This has been a very long week! Tuesday Vivian was diagnosed with strep. She's on antibiotics but still has a ugly sounding cough that makes it hard for her to get any sleep, which in turn makes it hard for me to get any sleep. She's really been a trooper though. And my mom wins the mimi of the year award for staying with us found days last week and four days this week to help with Vivian since daycare isn't open again until next week. Friday some amazingly wonderful and appreciated friends watched Vivian for us. She had a great time playing with their two girls! She's still talking about it.
