Vivian is really starting to climb on her own and test what she can do. It's great! But… I have to consciously force myself not to hover and to let her do it on her own and fall (from low places) and know she will be ok. We are both working on this.

Disneyland Part 3
This is the last installment of Disneyland photos.
Vivian's birthday celebration at Ariel's Grotto.
At some point Vivian learned how to "pose" for photos.
Passed out… for about 20 minutes until some jerk who needs a boot to the head banged a trash can in a quiet corner really loud and woke her up.
Shooting a bubble gun
Waving to Anna and Elsa in the parade.

Vivian's fourth third birthday party
I do have some more Disneyland photos to post - but I wanted to post Vivian's birthday pictures first. We had another party for her today. I don't think we realized she would have so many birthday parties this year! But I think that's kind of how it is with summer birthdays, or mine was any way.
Vivian had a great time, she was beaming the whole time. After her nap she woke up and asked where everyone went.
The cake (the sprinkles in the middle are supposed to be in the shape of an ice cream cone but it didn't quite work out that way)
Dessert spread (complete with an ice cream sundae bar)
I bought a cute little Old Navy "birthday girl" shirt for her but instead she wanted to wear her two year old dress from Spain. Oh well. She was happy.
All the kiddos eating lunch.
I love watching little kids watch other kids open birthday presents. They are all very good helpers come present opening time.

Disneyland #2 - the princesses
I was shocked Vivian actually talked to and hugged the princesses. She can be so shy. I love love love the great big hugs she is giving to Cinderella and Aurora. I also think it's funny she's smiling when she doesn't know I'm taking a picture then gets very serious when posing for a photo. She would have been great in the 1800's.
