100th post

I just saw that this is my 100th post. I should probably have done a special post but I think these pictures are cute enough to be the big 100. This is another cute top Victor found hiding in her drawers.

Playing dress up

This week Vivian's outfits for Uncle Bubby's wedding arrived. Unfortunately, her onesie for the rehearsal dinner will be too small by May so I don't have pictured of it yet. I've got to exchange it first. She loves her headpiece (fascinator) for the rehearsal dinner! We put it on her today just to play with and she didn't want to take it off. I set her in front of the mirror for awhile and she was enthralled with it.

All grown up

Today I set Vivian down for a few minutes to do some things in the kitchen. After a few minutes I noticed that, unlike most of the time, she wasn't fussing waiting to be picked up. So, I let her sit and play by herself. She played by herself for 10-15 minutes! She's getting to be such a big girl. She has figured out how to tip over her toy basket and picks out every single toy before picking one to play with. It's funny to watch. I think the next toy we need to get her is a sit-to-stand toy.

Playsuit

I can't remember if I posted a picture of this playsuit already but I love it so I figured I'd post it again! This is one of my favorite brands. It's such soft cotton. She always gets compliments on it from the other daycare moms. My pictures aren't great because they were with my phone. On with the photo shoot...

Shopping Saturday

Saturday we went to the mall for a few hours. I'd never had Vivian in the stroller for that long so I wasn't sure how well she would do but she was a trooper! By the end of the day she was ready to get out and move around but on the whole she was great. She's such a happy baby most of the time. The store clerks loved her. They gushed over the little jumpsuit and Uggs. She's a ham and smiled at everyone.

At the end of the day when she was getting restless I let her try some yogurt melts for the first time and she is in love with them. They are basically dehydrated yogurt and they melt in her mouth so I didn't worry too much about her choking (though I did break them into thirds) and she loved drinking from her sippy like a big girl. She still wants me to hold it for her but when I wouldn't she would do it herself. She loves water. She can go through a whole sippy in no time.

Boston bound!

This weekend Vivian, my mom, and I all went to Boston to see Aunti Caiti and look for dresses to wear to Uncle Bubby's wedding. We flew out Friday and we were supposed to come back Monday. Friday and Saturday day were really great! Little V loved spending time with her aunti and grammy. Though she missed her Aunti Keegan. Unfortunately, there was something funny with the air in the hotel and it made her so congested she couldn't breathe no matter how I tried to hold her or lay her. She had a terrible time sleeping so by 3 am Saturday/Sunday morning I decided I had to take her home. Sunday would have been miserable for her and I was already dreading Sunday night. We were home by noon and she has been sleeping off and on all day. She was still a little fussy but her breathing and congestion are noticeably better. I was sad to cut the weekend short but at least we got to visit for a little while.

She did really well on the plane rides! On the way to Boston she slept most of the flight. The way back we had a connection. The first flight she only slept 45 minutes then was a tiny bit fussy but she could have been a lot worse. The second leg was great. I had a whole row to myself so she was able to stretch out in my arms and get some good sleep.

We had a fun trip and hopefully next time the hotel air won't be to bad. Especially since our next trip is to Uncle Bubby's wedding!

Happy Valentine's Day

Happy Valentine's Day! Victor was in charge of the photo shoot today because he was at home with Little V. She had a cold this weekend and wasn't sleeping well at all and it all culminated into one rough night last night. She was just so exhausted she couldn't sleep. So Victor stayed home with her to make sure she had plenty of long deep naps. She went down much easier tonight so hopefully her one wake up will be her usual and not another hour after hour marathon. And she needs her sleep to get ready to go to Boston this weekend!

Of course she had to wear her heart shirt today. And her knickerbockers.

She has started trying to bubble her lips together (I don't know how to describe it. Like when you say brrr and trill your lips at the beginning) but she isn't very good at it yet. This is what she looks like...
