We are splitting up Christmas. We had one at our house yesterday then Christmas with my family on the 25th. I'm actually really glad we did this because today she is so much more excited about Santa then she was before. I think Wednesday morning will be a lot of fun.

Snow

Vivian refuses to wear a coat. This results in her going outside for maybe a minute at a time. She walked in a circle, came inside, brushed off her boots, then went back out and repeat. I love the little Uggs. Sadly she doesn't seem to.

A Russian old-lady scarf is the closest she would come to wearing a coat. It did keep her out for three minutes at a time. So that's something.

I think I'm going to take a week break from posts. I have several pictures for Christmas yesterday so I'm just going to do a few posts today to get them all on here before I go on hiatus. Plan your blog reading accordingly, please. :)

Night Before First Christmas

Vivian is having two Christmases this year. When she initially woke up this morning she was really freaked out when we told her Santa came. Then I realized she didn't want a stranger in the house. Once we told her her just stopped by and then left she was really excited to check out her presents!

Pretending It Is Summer

This morning was my wake up day with Vivian. For some reason she insisted on putting on her swimsuit. She didn't want to swim, she just hung out in it for awhile. 

I know you can't really see her in this picture, but look at how tall she is!! I remember putting her in that laundry basket she is now towering over to play in. Oy

These are a bunch of randoms. I turned around the camera on my phone and Vivian discovered she could see the pictures I took of her. So of course she hammed it up for the camera.

I wish I had some funny ones of her acting up for this post. But I bribed her with M&Ms so she behaved. And she's become quite the ham lately so she likes getting her picture taken.

Shovelling

Someone loves to play in the snow! She really likes to shovel or sweep it. Sadly she wants me to do it also. I tried to explain mommy doesn't do manual labor in her pink suede gloves but that was unacceptable.
