My First Purse

Vivian is in love with my new lunch box. Every time sees it sitting out she makes a beeline for it. Once she has it she crawls around with it to do whatever she was doing previously. She also likes to carry it for me when we are walking in the house. It's funny because it's so big!

Wordless Wednesday - Sleeping Baby Edition

Finally!

Vivian can finally wear dresses again! To celebrate she wore the new outfit from Uncle Bubby and Aunt Mallory, along with her super cute espadrilles. I love this dress. And it's short enough that she can crawl pretty well in it. However, she might not need to do that much longer because she has started taking a few steps on her own! She's making a game of walking between Victor and me and cracking up at herself the whole time. No video - we are having more fun playing with her than recording.

Fat fatty fat fat

Well, Vivian officially had her first daycare injury. Today I got a call from Laurie. Her first words were "it isn't an emergency but..." It cracks me up - this is how she starts every phone call I get at work. It's good she does that though because as soon as I hear her voice my brain goes into go time mode planning how quickly I can leave and what work I'll need to bring home with me.

Today Vivian followed her four year old buddy into the playroom but her buddy didn't realize it. Her buddy turned around quickly and tripped over Vivian. Somehow that caused Vivian to cut her lip on her tooth and get a fat it. It isn't a big deal, but it was so big when I picked her up today! I tried to get some pictures but it was hard getting a good angle. The top probably shows it best - it looks like she got bad botox. She's perfectly happy and after chewing on her frozen teether the swelling went down quite a bit.

Shortie

Poor Vivian can't wear a skirt or dress all week. Whenever she crawls in a dress the bottom of it pulls under her knees so she accommodates by crawling on her tip toes. To give her sad little toenail time to heal she's stuck in shorts all week. They just aren't as cute as skirts!

So, here are some pictures of her in shorts. I don't like to let her play with my tech products for lots of reasons. However, I do have the Fisher-Price free apps on my phone and iPad in case of emergency. She LOVES these apps. She always dances whenever they come on.

I think she's so cute when she drinks from a sippy all by herself. Sometimes she gets so excited she topples over backward. Hehe

Random Review

Here are my leftover pictures from last week. I don't think I'll be posting much this week. Poor Vivian has another cold (along with a broken toe nail) and is feeling really yucky. She hasn't been up for photos lately because she really just wants to sit quietly instead of posing for pictures.

Sorry guys, I meant to post last night but I got drunk and forgot. Actually, I sadly haven't had anything to drink since my brother's wedding. And that was just one glass. Before that it was my birthday 2010! Happily I was never a big drinker.

Anyway, the point is, I'm posting pictures out of chronological order today. I've got some more to post but I thought these were really cute soI thought  I'd go ahead and post them today.

Uncle Bubby and Aunt Mallory gave Vivian the cutest little swim hat!! They also gave her adorable espadrilles and a dress but I'll post about that when I have pictures. Today, it's about the hat. Vivian actually wore it all over the house for white awhile without fussing. The little flowers are adorable.

Grammy lets Vivian play with her Coke ice - that's when you know it's true love. Unfortunately, she wasn't so worried about sticky ice getting on my floor mats...

This headband cracks me up. Sometimes she will wear a headband with no problems and sometimes she pulls it off right away. Laurie said this one lasted maybe two hours... a new daycare record!

Lazy weekend

We didn't do much this weekend. Just swim and hang out. Luckily, if we start swimming early enough there is quite a bit of shade in the pool area. We just have to be out by about 1. So we were able to be out there for a few hours in the morning. She loved it! Swimming and playing by the pool. I think next year she will be old enough for swim lessons. 

Here are some pictures - I wasn't going to post them yet but I received several nagging texts asking for more pictures. I try to plan posts around different outfits or locations but I won't worry about that so much.

11 months

Vivian is 11 months old! That's crazy!! She's definitely on the move. She loves to walk all over the house. Today we let her try a little birthday cake and she was on such a sugar high she walked laps around the living room with her little walker. The problem is, she doesn't know how to turn it around so I had to walk laps with her!

She loves the water. On the top step she can stand and play a little bit on her own (obviously with mommy or daddy right by with a hand ready to ensure she doesn't fall off the step)
