More Carthage

I unexpectedly had to leave Vivian in Carthage earlier this week after our visit. Victor was sick and contagious so I left her at home to hopefully avoid her getting sick. Mimi and Cait got her a little sewing machine! Her new school works on sewing as part of their hand eye coordination so she really enjoys it now.

This weekend Vivian and I went to Mimi and Papa's house.

First thing she always likes to check out Mimi's desk

Then we played some card games (she plays Uno with her teachers, so basically she made every game into a version of Uno)

Then she played with Cait's old McDonald's set

And got a shiner by running into a granite corner.

Check out what we found in our yard! A headlight! Vivian wanted to pose for pictures for Bub and Papa. Apparently she knows of their love for light movable lighting options. Giant flashlight here we come.

The good and the bad (never any ugly)

Yesterday Vivian and I saw the new Cinderella movie with Stacy and Marin and Leah. It was a gorgeous movie! Visually stunning. Cate Blanchett was amazing as always. Stace and I both agree it is worth watching if only for the gorgeous costumes. 

After, Vivian decided she wanted me to take some pictures of her to send to Stacy. Again, she doesn't seem to understand if she goes far away I can't actually see her in the shot.

Today Vivian got mad at me for something, I can't remember what. So she decided to draw all over her legs and face. Then when I apparently didn't react in the way she wanted she decided to draw on some closet doors with marker. That definitely got a reaction. 

Little Stinker

The last two days Vivian has picked out really cute outfits but she wouldn't let me take pictures of her! Stinker. In this one she more a sweatshirt with pink plaid shorts and her pink flower boots. Very festival chic.

In this one she wore leggings with a skirt, shirt, and cardigan. She just threw on the cardigan like it was no big deal but it made the outfit really cute.
