Boo at the Zoo

Today we went to Boo at the Zoo. It was so cold! October 31 is so hard, sometimes it's warm and sometimes it's cold. Today, it was cold. Vivian is a green lantern but she had to wear a coat so you couldn't actually see that part of her costume. Happily her coat is also a cape so it went with the super hero theme. Really she needed her heavy winter coat. Poor baby was just freezing. We wandered around trying to find animals but they were all smarter than us and stayed inside. Vivian was really happiest when there were other kids around - she loves wandering close to kids and trying to play with them.

People kept saying how cute her costume was but since they likely couldn't see her lantern symbol I'm not quite sure what they thought she was.

Friday, Friday, Friday

Sometimes when I'm trying to take care of chores while I'm alone with Vivian I'll stick her in the laundry basket and push her around in it until we get to the basement steps. She thinks this is the best game ever. This week she decided it would be fun to just hang out in the hamper for awhile

Then she popped out and said hi!

And tried to pick up Inky

Then she gave me a bloody nose...

A few weeks ago when Vivian was sick I broke down and bought her the Little People farm. Whenever we play with it I sometimes pretend like the animals are running across her leg or head. She's started doing that to me, however it's more like she's trying to knock me out with a horse!

One more try

I tried again to get good pictures of this dress. It didn't work. Poor baby either has a cold or hellacious teeth coming in. Either way she is not happy. She just can't catch a break.

I forgot to upload my pictures and I'm too lazy to get up and get my camera right now. I'll try to post pictures tonight.

What Vivian is doing these days:
1) Clapping for herself. For example, stack a block then stop and clap, get a piece of food on the fork lay the fork down and clap. It's funny
2) Fake coughing while I am having a coughing fit
3) Carrying around bags the say I carry my purse
4) Putting things away. Her current favorite is to take all her pants out of their drawer, lay them on the floor, then put them all away. Unfolded but it still counts.
5) Wipe her face with a paper towel when she's finished eating
6) Wipe her tray to clean it off for fruit
7) The sign language sign for "all done"
8) Fight naps... ugh
9) Lay her head on Inky as if Inky was her personal pillow

Wordless Wednesday

This weekend we let Vivian try a fudgsicle for the first time. It took her awhile to get over the cold but then she approved! Sadly, it ruined her shirt - happily it was a clearance sale from Old Navy so it probably cost less than the whole box of fudgsicles.

Busy busy

The last few days have been crazy so I haven't taken many pictures. Vivian tried banana bread for the first time and she really liked it. She also fed Inky two pieces. I was surprised Inky ate any but she ate both of them. I had to take it away so Inky didn't get sick - Vivian loves sharing her food with Inky. Kid needs a dog.

This picture is so cute. I know you can't see her face but she's walking with such purpose it cracks me up. She was actually walking over to the counter to yell at Inky for being up where she shouldn't. She's so smart!
