On Friday our neighbor and we hosted a little cookout for the street. We had a fire with hot dogs and s'mores. Quite a few people stopped by! The girls up the street, and two kids who are Vivian's age along with their dad's. The super sweet older couple couldn't walk in the yard but they stopped by and gave the kids McDonald's fries. We were hoping the new people on the street would stop by, but I guess when you are young and child-free a campfire with a bunch of 6 year olds isn't your idea of a fun Friday night.

Saturday it was nice and cool and perfect for a trip to the zoo! They have all the decorations up for Halloween so it's cute and fun this time of year

Vivian's wish finally came true and she got to be in a parade!

Handing out candy in a parade is a lot more work than I realized. I'll be much more appreciative in the future when we receive candy.

School was closed on Friday so Vivian and I went to Kaleidoscope then hung out by the Crown Center fountains and ate yummy yummy Sheridans.
