Happy Valentine's Day

Happy Valentine's Day! Victor was in charge of the photo shoot today because he was at home with Little V. She had a cold this weekend and wasn't sleeping well at all and it all culminated into one rough night last night. She was just so exhausted she couldn't sleep. So Victor stayed home with her to make sure she had plenty of long deep naps. She went down much easier tonight so hopefully her one wake up will be her usual and not another hour after hour marathon. And she needs her sleep to get ready to go to Boston this weekend!

Of course she had to wear her heart shirt today. And her knickerbockers.

She has started trying to bubble her lips together (I don't know how to describe it. Like when you say brrr and trill your lips at the beginning) but she isn't very good at it yet. This is what she looks like...

Diaper time

Diaper time is getting interesting. She now wants to wriggle around and look at anything that might be behind her. She also loves to pull both her feet up to her mouth... at the same time. It's pretty funny to watch!

Hanging out

This morning my office opened late so I let Vivian hang out a little while before rushing her to get ready. She loves laying in our bed. It's so soft and comfy compared to her crib!

Valentine's Day

Vivian received a very special Valentine's Day gift yesterday! No, not from her daycare boyfriend. One of my friend's daughters gave her a book! She is already obsessed with it. M and L (I won't post their names because I don't want to break the privacy of others) are both a little older than Vivian but I'm pretty certain they are all going to be friends. The girls will meet in person for the first time toward the end of March and hopefully they can have some girl time together swimming this summer. 6 months continued

Ok, I lied in my last post. I have a bunch of cute pictures but most of them are naked pictures so I'm not going to post those. So here are just a few more. Including a flower as big as her head!

6 month check up

Vivian is six months old!! It's so hard to believe she is half a year old. Only her Uncle Bubby remembered her half birthday (other than mommy and daddy of course.) Yay Uncle Bubby!

She's getting so big. She is now 18 pounds 9 ounces. So it seems like her weight gain is starting to slow down a little bit, she's down to only the 92%. She is 26 inches long which is the 60%. She's down 7 inches since birth. She only has four inches to go before she grows out of the infant car seat. Her head is still in the 30%. Still a pinhead like her Mama.

She's starting to really grab for things. She can see something she wants and bend over (with a little help) and grab it. Unfortunately, when she is finished with something she just drops it which is not good for our hardwoods.

Her adorable outfit this month was handmade by my Aunt. I can't believe someone actually made it!

Visitor

Today my dad stopped by the house on his way to the last MU/KU game. Vivian was feeling moody because she had her six month shots yesterday (more on that check up in another post) but she did let him hold her for a little while before getting fussy.
