The Very Long Bedtime

Vivian didn't want to go to bed so she did everything in her power to keep herself awake. 

She rolled all over the bed.

Then she arranged her animals since I washed them and apparently got them out of order.

Then she jumped

And jumped

And tried to climb back in once I made her get out for jambes

Grammy is coming up to paint her room this week so hopefully she will have a pretty, fun room by this weekend.

It's a Sunshine Day

The sun gets in the Diva's eyes on the way to daycare.

I use the word finger lightly because it really became full-body painting. (and no, I'm not the one who bought her shirt.)

Problem Solved!

I figured out how to solve Vivian's slight nudity issue. I bought a little bikini and just force her to wear the bottoms! Ta da! I still feel strongly against babies in bikinis and I don't plan on ever letting her wear this thing out of our backyard but. The bottoms are the perfect fix because it's not as constricting (or as hard to put on) as a regular suit but it's harder to take off than a diaper. 

At first she was like "what the heck?? Let me out of this contraption!"

Then she was all, ooh spaghetti! 

The house came with a picnic table which is one of the best parts of the house! Whenever the weather is nice, which has been most days lately, I just take our dinner outside and let her eat. That way I don't have to stress about her new found habit of throwing food when she gets bored.

Then she played/cleaned off in the pool. This is the best purchase ever!

Weekend Recap

This weekend we finally broke out the summer toys. We have a water table, water guns, a really cool Melissa and Doug sprinkler, and a toddler pool with slide. So this should keep her entertained for about an hour. Actually the loves the pool! She played in it for over an hour after dinner tonight. Naked. I don't know if I will ever be able to post pictures of her in the pool because the child refuses to wear a suit or diaper in it.

So here are some of her clothes in the water table. Not with the water table. IN the water table. This is what prompted the kiddie pool purchase. 

Note her pretty new skirt. The Schaub girls were sweet enough to pass down some new dress up clothes for Vivian and she loved them! This hot pink skirt was her favorite but we also have a fairy princess skirt and a Rapunzel dress! Here she is watching Tangled in her dress.
