Today's Outfits

So that you know I'm not exaggerating, here is a day's worth of outfits. All except the last one occurred before naptime. I'm missing a photo of Belle dress and a pants change. Otherwise this is all of them.

Painting. This started trying to do a cute handprint picture. Apparently she's still too young or too stubborn.

She asked if we could make cookies then started looking through the pantry for the ingredients. She even started taking to herself while doing it.

The pants in this one are different from the ones above. She said she was going to make us dinner. Then she only made some for herself and made me sit and watch her eat. She kept saying "best dinner ever!" Mean girl.

Costume Change

You may have noticed in my recent posts that Vivian wears different outfits in the same post. This isn't because the photos are taken on the same day. It is because Vivian is obsessed with changing her clothes. Seriously, if Victor or I were stay at home parents we would go bankrupt on the cost of water alone. Today she wore one outfit to daycare, three different princess dresses, another dress, then a towel, then jammies. No joke. 

Here she is as Cinderella. Sweeping her floors. She loves this dress for Marin and Leah.

This photo cracks me up.

She made me be the witch. I kind of feel for all the Wicked Queens these days. So I wore the cape with the pink on the outside. She did not approve.

Then she tested out her balance bike. Still getting used to it.

On another note, I wish I could sew. She keeps asking for various princess costumes and I feel like it would be pretty easy to sew some simple dresses. But I can't sew. She has several princess dresses from Target, but she doesn't like the big plastic picture they all have on the front of the dress. So that kind of limits her costume options. Since I cannot sew, I'll have to see if I can cut off the plastic things.  I'm good with scissors.

Return of the Vivian

Vivian was sick this weekend. It was sad, except that she was so cuddly and actually fell asleep on top of me for the first time in probably almost two years. It was amazing to have my little toddler asleep on top of me. I remember laying on my mom that way when I was little.

Anyway, the point is, Vivian watched a lot of tv this weekend. By Sunday afternoon Victor was feeling a little tired of cartoons so he turned on Star Wars. Vivian was quite into it! She always watched for Vader and R2D2 (who she calls bedo bedo for some reason.) Then she began playing with little bedo bedo and even put him to sleep. Poor little guy was tired.

Blue Jeans

Just try and tell me Vivian in fitted jeans is not the cutest thing you've seen today. She hates them so they are just her spare outfit at daycare. But just love when she has to wear them. She looks so cute!! These are from Friday. She was sick this weekend. I'll post some sickie pictures later.

Carrying the basket at the grocery store. She is definitely getting better at walking with me at the store instead of running like a wild beast.

Her new favorite game - "rolling" the snow then eating it off the roller. I keep waiting for her tongue to stick to the metal. Hasn't happened so far.

Nothing Big

I couldn't get any good pictures of Vivian today but I knew I'd hear about it if I didn't post for a few days.

This is what I get for turning on Monsters University. I've been saying her name repeatedly and she's still ignoring me.
