Ren Fest Day 2

On Sunday I took Vivian back to the Renaissance  Festival. She had been asking to go back to the "Castle" for a few weeks and this was the last weekend it would be open. She had such a great time!! She was much more inclined to just wander and play instead of sticking right by me. When we walked in the fairies were doing a show, but she wouldn't go up on stage with them because she didn't have her fairy wings on. So I bought her some $10 wings.

As we were leaving the fairies were just finishing another show. I felt so bad she didn't get to go on stage and dance with them in her wings but she still got to go on stage and bow with them. She was happy and didn't realize the missed the dancing. Dang mommy guilt gets me again.

Vivian wanted to watch Frozen. So she obviously had to put on her Anna dress.

Then  her Elsa cape for Let it Go (actually, she said I could be Elsa and wear the cape. Then she made me be Anna's horse while she was both Anna and Elsa."

Vivian and I had a dolly hair salon this week. Several of her dolls' hair was looking very rugged so I figured it was worth a shot. We washed it in baby shampoo.

Then we soaked them in a 1:1 ratio of water and fabric softener for 24 hours. I was skeptic but it actually worked!

Weekend

Saturday was our wedding anniversary! Megan came over to play with Vivian while Victor and I went to dinner and a movie. Yes, we stayed up late enough to do both in one evening. Wild and crazy times over here.

Vivian loves to pretend to go to bed in the spare bedroom. Never at bedtime and never in her own room. She also loves dressing up my Felicity doll.

Drinking her milk out of a big girl mug. This dress was initially going to be the very clothing item I officially saved. But then she found it and started playing dress up in it. I figure I'd rather she have fun with it now than stare at it creepily in 15 years when she goes to college. It's such a cute dress though!

Gift from Caiti

Caiti sent Vivian a Halloween package the other day. We could see it from the street and Vivian flipped out! She sprinted to get it. Note the cute way the UPS guy displayed it with the pumpkin from Papa
