I really hate trying to think of post titles. I try to think of something witty but nothing comes to mind so I just end up picking a one-word title having something to do with he outfit du jour. 

This is a cute transitional outfit for the fall. With matching leggings. I'm planning on lots of leggings for the fall/winter. Better than tights but don't have to deal with jeans.

I also really love these up close pictures when she tries to steal my camera. Now that the weather isn't so hot out we've been going outside while dinner cooks. It's a fun way to spend 30 minutes. She's such a little stinker.

Cheese!

There's no way she's a short as she measured at her 1 year appointment. I think she must have been laying crooked. This dress is much shorter than it was in the spring when I bought it. And if she was at the bottom of the size range then it would not be so short. She's a goon.

Alligators

Vivian has made some big updates this week! She has started walking all by herself voluntarily. Before she would walk between Victor and I  but that was about it. Now she will walk between rooms and to find Inky and to try and eat the cat food. She is so proud of herself!!

She has also learned how to take bites of whole things. I know this sounds like no big deal but it's so nice to be able to hand her a cheese stick or slice of something and know she can eat bits of it without shoving the whole thing into her mouth. So much nicer.

Poor little sick baby. She has another cold. This is an especially bad one - I've been sleeping with her in the recliner most of this week just to let her sleep at an angle to decongest. Normally this would be bad enough but I have a cold as well so it's been rough!

I know this isn't the best background but I think it's adorable that she has started sitting cross-legged.

This little face cracks me up. It's her new one to do when I'm taking pictures.

Pink Ruffles

Vivian tested out a new pair of shoes today. Old Navy actually has really great soft-soled shoes. They go on sale and are under $10 which is fantastic! I've been watching these for awhile, waiting for a good enough sale. Little pink (faux) patent leather shoes with pink ruffles. What could be better?

She still refuses to look at the camera most of the time.

Clothes horse

Vivian is such a little diva these days! She tries to dress herself anytime she can get her hands on clothes and is also working on putting on her own shoes. If we have time in the morning I let her pick out her own outfits. I bought her some starter clothes for fall - mostly cotton long-sleeved do-dads and a few sweater dresses. She went crazy looking though them! She already has a few favorites in them. 

First she would check out the quality of the material and the patterns...

 Then she would look at the tag and give me a look that says "Target mom? Bring back the lady who takes me to Nordstrom!"

Rainey Weekend

Vivian has a complain she wanted me to make you all aware of - when mommy doesn't feel well and didn't get much sleep, she puts me in outfits like this. A too big shirt and cropped leggings. However, it is a three wolf shirt of power so it's not that bad I guess.

Also, I climbed up on the table all by myself today. Poor mommy and daddy. HA!

We rearranged the house. I thought Vivian might enjoy having a little space so we moved the table into the living room and now the dining room is her playroom. She seems to love it! She crawls all around and in between the rooms. Now we just have to show the kitties where we hid their food from Vivian.
