You should expect to see the tutu a lot in the coming weeks. She changes it as soon as we get home and have a dance party. It's fantastic, but makes it hard to make a healthy dinner by 6!

New PJs

Vivian has been on a kick when she tries to take off her PJs and says she wants to sleep naked. Fighting to keep on footies at ten minutes to lights out is very frustrating. I found these on clearance at TArget and she loves them! She were them before bedtime last night and even after she woke up today. Woo too! The downer is that apparently PJs like these are hard to find and are pricey. But I'm looking for more on clearance to avoid doing laundry every day. But I will if it comes to it.

I know these pictures are blurry, but they were a pretty accurate representation of her reaction when she saw the PJs for the first time.

Swimsuit!

This post has a lot of pictures and I apologize. They are all just so cute I couldn't choose! We went to Target to find some new pjs. The Target made it impossible to locate their jammies, but Vivian did manage to find some superhero undies, a hat, and this swimsuit. I didn't get her the hat but I did let her have the suit. It is so cute!! I don't know who buys swimsuits in February but there were only three of these left. None in her size so I sized up and it is fine. She doesn't seem to mind.

So we were standing in line and when I was digging through my purse she stripped off her jacket and shirt before I saw and stopped her. She really wanted that suit! So I let her put in on over her pants and then put the jacket back on just to get home.

Snow Day

We got a TON of snow yesterday. Probably bout ten inches total. Today we spent about four hours shoveling the driveway. I tried to sled with her but she wasn't having it. The really high snow kind of freaked her out I think.

She did love her pink snow pants though!

Weekend photos

Here are some random pictures from this weekend. Vivian is really into superheros and especially Spiderman. As much as I like Disney movies I'm glad she likes all sort of characters, not just princesses and fairies. Though Think does have an attitude on her. 

The problem is, I'm much better at make believe with girly things than with action things. So when she started asking for webs I was a little stuck. Then I had an epiphany. I bought some white yarn and braided several different strands. Then I tied them together making different lassos and web slingers. It turned out fairly well, happily she has quite an imagination on her!

Then today she played out in the snow for a little while. She liked it well enough… until she made a snowball and her hands got cold. Then she was not happy at all!

Post-15 minutes in the snow. You'd think she was outside for hours and hours! Silly girl
